Sarah Tejal Hamilton We caught up with Sarah at the Rising Sun Arts Centre to get the lowdown on her passion, her playwrighting and her proposal for our explosive November Workshop!
A homegrown Reading talent, Sarah took an MA in Dramatic Writing at London Central St Martins to develop her craft as a playwright, and has also had work performed at the Royal Court, Etcetera, Finborough, Pleasance and Old Red Lion theatres. Alongside and perhaps crucial to her playwrighting career, Sarah worked for 14 years as a local and national journalist, including several stints as a correspondent from Afghanistan, reporting on the conflict there.
Sarah's script for our November Forum workshop is fuelled by her experiences in Afghanistan and the long impact of war on its people.
