StrikeUp is committed to protecting your personal information and being transparent about the information we hold, whether you are a collaborator, audience member, job applicant, customer, website visitor, or a participant in one of our workshops.


This privacy policy sets out how StrikeUp uses and protects any information collected when you use our website or email us.

Information collected by StrikeUp:

Mailing List

Should you sign up to our mailing list we will collect the following information:

• Full name

• E-mail address




Collaborators and Freelancers

Should you enter into work with StrikeUp in a voluntary or paid capacity, we will collect the following information:

• Full name

• Email address

• Home address

• Telephone number

• (If relevant) agent contact details

• (if relevant) Bank account details

• Any relevant medical conditions




Education Participants

Should you take part in a class, workshop or education project with us, we will collect the following information:

• Full name

• Email address

• Home address

• Telephone number




How StrikeUp use your data:

• StrikeUp uses personal information to keep you updated on news and events through our mailing list

• StrikeUp uses personal information to keep you updated if you work, partner or collaborate with us

• StrikeUp uses personal information for internal record keeping, to monitor attendance, engagement and course payments

• We will only contact you about the project you are working on and afterwards about further opportunities or activities which may are relevant to you




A note on photography:

StrikeUp holds and uses photographs for promotion of our professional productions and events. Collaborators and freelancers agree to production photographs being used for promotional purposes when they sign a contract. The copyright of the photographs lies with the photographer who will always be credited.

StrikeUp hold photographs of education participants and retain them for historical purposes. Participants agree to their photos being used for publicity purposes, and may have their photos put on the website and social media platforms.

Storage and use of Personal Information:

Electronic copies of personal information are kept on password protected computersonly accessible to the StrikeUp Director. Staff will be informed of medical or personal information on a need to know basis.



Accuracy

RABBLE Theatre ensures to keep all information up to date. Should circumstances or information changes, you have the right to ask for old information to be removed or updated.



Security Measures

We take the security of your data seriously.

 
Our education database is held on Google Sheets in a password protected Google Drive with restricted access to relevant StrikeUp staff only.

Where we use external companies that may process data on our behalf we will check that these companies comply with the law and our policy before working with them.

We will only share your data where we have your explicit and informed consent, unless we are required to disclose your details to the police, regulatory bodies or legal advisors for a lawful basis.




Your Right to Access your Data

You have the right to request the information we hold about you at any time by submitting a written Data Subject Access Request. We will require proof of ID before  releasing any information and will charge an administration fee of £10.
